Details
Product Code Carrier Adhesive Type Color Thickness Elongation (%) Temperature Resistance    Where to Use
3M 5480 PTFE Silicone Grey 90 mic. 140 204 PTFE film with a very low friction coefficient offers an extraordinarily slippery surface. Offers a high level of heat resistance making it usable for heated machines and equipment. A perfect level of chemical resistance makes it durable against tough applications. Used to help moves of net materials during roll wrapping.
3M 5490 PTFE Silicone Grey 90 mic. 150 204 Durable and offers abrasion resistance making it able to deliver reliability and performance to reduce the level of friction, rattling and machine noise. PTFE film with a very low friction coefficient offers an extraordinarily slippery surface. Delivers a high level of heat resistance and, a perfect level of chemical resistance.
3M 5413 Polyamide Silicone Amber 70 mic. 60 260 A film tape used for high temperature applications. Flame retardant, resistant to chemicals and radiation.
3M 5421 UHMV-PE Acrylic Transparent 170 mic. 300 107 Semitransparent, abrasion resistant, protects surfaces against abrasion. Offers a low level of friction coefficient for “sliding plane” effect between surfaces. As it offers a low level of friction coefficient, it may be used in such places where it is not possible to oil due to pollution and for the purpose of reducing noises such as creaks happening due to movements, and in order to create a slippery surface for drawers and cabinets etc.
3M 5423 UHMV-PE Rubber Semitransparent 280 mic. 300 107 A thicker version of 3M 5421. Semitransparent, abrasion resistant, protects surfaces against abrasion.
